Gamblin Artists Oils use a binder of alkali-refined linseed oil. This binder results in a strong, flexible paint film, which does not yellow as much as cold pressed linseed oil. Made with the finest refined linseed oils, each color retains the unique characteristics of the high quality pigments, including tinting strength, undertone, and texture.

Ivory Black: A good, all-purpose black that’s a solid choice for mixing greys, tinting, and mixing with other colors. Slightly warm in its transparency with a weak tinting strength.
